Coordinated Multi-Load Relocations

Project-Based Industrial Moves

Major industrial moves demand planning, sequencing, and coordination, not just trucks. Our team supports multi-load relocations, production line moves, and staged deliveries for manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and industrial operations. We manage equipment staging, loading coordination, communication, and timing so your operation continues without interruption.

Counterweights, Booms & Jobsite Gear

Prefabrication Transport FAQs

Prefabricated structures require coordinated handling, proper support, and predictable scheduling. These questions help explain how we move prefabricated components safely and on time.

How do you protect large prefabricated panels during transport?

We assess the size, rigidity, and support points of each panel before loading and secure them using methods that prevent flexing or vibration. Our team checks clearances, weight distribution, and tie downs to ensure stability from pickup to delivery.

Can you coordinate deliveries in the order required for assembly?

Yes. We schedule loads so each component arrives when the installation crew is ready for it. This approach prevents congestion at the jobsite and supports continuous assembly without interruption.

Do you move custom prefabricated frames or specialty assemblies?

We transport a wide range of prefabricated structures and frames. Each load is reviewed for size, weight, and connection points to ensure it travels securely and arrives ready for placement.

Challenge

Goodyear’s Lawton plant needed a new calender
roll installed during a four-day shutdown

Solution

Millwright services for onsite construction
with Project coordination between multiple parties

Result

Finished the calendar roll change in two and a half days,
giving Goodyear extra time before restarting production.

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company’s Lawton plant conducts an annual shutdown to perform maintenance and install new machinery—an operation where every hour counts. With production downtime costing hundreds of thousands of dollars, the company only works with contractors who have proven expertise. For this year’s calendar roll change, Goodyear brought in CEI Crane & Rigging, a team trusted for its precision and experience.

A crew of ten—including foremen, millwrights, operators, and riggers—arrived on-site under an extremely tight deadline. What is typically a six-day, two-pass calendar roll replacement needed to be completed in just four days. Despite the aggressive timeline, CEI executed the work with the speed and coordination the project demanded.

In the end, CEI finished the entire project in two and a half days—less than half the standard time. Goodyear mechanical engineer Fernando Valencia called the performance “phenomenal,” noting that the accelerated completion even allowed his team additional time for quality assurance and troubleshooting before production resumed.

CEI’s millwright foreman emphasized that the success was due to the skill and experience of the entire crew, who delivered results far beyond expectations. For projects where timing, precision, and experience matter, CEI continues to be the team Goodyear relies on.
